It doesn't get more Art Deco than this. It's like the flamboyance of Josephine Baker and Carmen Miranda together in a fabulous piece of 1930s costume jewelry.
This pin is actually TWO pins. They're cut-out gold-tone figural faces that are very stylized and connected by two link chains. The deco gals each wear one dangle earring and fascinator style hat curl.
This chatelaine pin would be worn across a jacket or coat collar or worn close together on a dress or blouse. Each face pin measures 1 3/8 by 2 1/4 inches. The chains stretch out to 8 inches long.
The pin is unmarked. Each side has a secure rollover clasp. There's very slight wear to gold-tone but overall condition is excellent. Circa 1930s.
These true art deco pins from the period are hard to find...this one is definitely worthy of stardom.
