She's a smiling Asian beauty, deftly carved into a heart made of genuine jade. This vintage Chinese pendant hangs from a jade green silk cord with the 'forbidden knot'.
The jade heart is carved through showing the woman both front and back. It measures 1 3/4 inches across and 1 3/4 inches high. The cord is 28 inches around.
The nephrite jade turns whitish at edge and there are a couple of natural dark inclusions in the stone. The smooth wax-like patina is everything old jade should be. This vintage heart pendant is in excellent condition.
