This gorgeous old Israeli jewel can be worn as a pin or a pendant. It has a complex antiquated look though it's circa mid-century.
Made of 925 sterling silver, the pin has a large pyrite center stone. Known as 'fool's gold', the stone has a metallic luster that has been likened to gold. There are small faux pearls circling the stone and turquoise colored glass stones around the outer scalloped edge. The setting is ornate with a gold vermeil wash over the silver.
The pin measures 1 5/8 by 1 1/2 inches. The back is marked ISRAEL 925. There's both a secure rollover clasp and a loop for a chain. We haven't polished it...the patina is lovely as is. Excellent condition.
