It's not just BIG. It's FANTASTICALLY big! And gorgeous. And something you'd expect to see voguing down the runway.
This vintage bracelet has dozens of jumbo faux pearls attached to a silver-tone metal expansion bracelet. The inside is marked 'Made in Hong Kong' so this is circa late 1950s/early 1960s. The pearls are ringed at the tops with clear rhinestone rondelles. The stones are prong set so we know they were inserted by hand.
The width of the bracelet is 2 inches. Any average wrist will fit through the expanding bracelet with ease. The inside of the bracelet shows age-related wear to the metal. The tips of the pins that hold the pearls together have tarnished, giving the small top pearls a grayish patina. This has not spoiled the party as the rhinestones are as bright and lustrous as ever. This bracelet, with its negligible flaws, is priced accordingly.
