No wonder they called it DIAMONBAR. This vintage art deco bar pin was made to mimic the real thing using multi-faceted paste stones set in sterling silver.
The bar pin is from the early Art Deco era...circa 1920s. It was made by Wahenheimer Brothers, Inc. of Rhode Island, 1907 to 1931. They specialized in high-quality sterling silver art deco rhinestone jewelry and did a fine job of it from the looks of this lovely pin.
It measures 2 5/8 inches long by 3/16 inch wide. There's an original 'C' clasp that cups the pin securely. The back is marked STERLING -DIAMONBAR. We've left the original patina unpolished though you can certainly buff it gently to a shine. It's in excellent vintage condition.
