This Edwardian era (c1920) gentleman's accessory set calls for an occasion. And if you don't have one, create one. It's well worth it just to wear this fine sterling silver set of shirt studs with matching collar pin.
Each piece has a fine carved mother-of-pearl inlay, embellished with a center facet-cut faux diamond. The three studs come with detachable silver links (front row). Each stud measures 1/2 inch across.
The collar pin measures 1 1/2 inches across by 1/2 inch wide.
All the settings and links are made of sterling silver. The set is fitted to the original hinged velvet presentation case. The velvet is old and worn but the box still shuts with a snap and the hinge is fine. The inside of the case is satin-lined (satin is showing separation at hinge) and is imprinted STERLING SILVER on inside lid.
We haven't polished the silver as we leave it to buyer to decide if they prefer the original patina. This set is overall in excellent condition. The quality is high. The occasion is waiting.
