It's amazing what some people can do with a few squiggly lines. This mid-century Modernist Taxco pin does just that...turns a few pieces of inlaid silver-on-silver into the graceful figure of an archer as he's pulling back his arrow.
The pin is signed on the back...marked STERLING - FJM - TAXCO 925. It measures 1 5/8 inches across by just over 2 inches high. It weighs 15.5 grams. The back has a secure rollover clasp. The flowing curved figure is carried through in the curve of the pin itself. Even the shape of the pin is free-form.
We don't polish vintage silver because the aged patina looks so nice. This vintage pin is well-designed and right on the bullseye if you like old Mexican Taxco artistry... and archery.
