It looks like a stained glass window with colorful panels of see-through glass. This vintage Crown Trifari pendant cascades down in three sections of what's called 'pliqué a jour' (French for 'letting in daylight'). The colors are red, blue and green glass artfully set in bright goldtone.
The chain is a double strand that measures 21 inches around. The pendant hangs 5 1/4 inches long by 1 3/4 inches wide. The chain has a secure jumpring clasp.
This Crown Trifari line is circa 1960s and is featured in the book Collecting Costume Jewelry by Julia Carroll. The pendant is marked on the back of the last section. It's in excellent condition.
