Original 1981 MARK HAMILL Autograph w/ Polaroid Photo in our Antique Shop

It was Friday July 24, 1981. Our New York Greenwich Village shop on Broadway was full of vintage antiques and collectibles and people who liked that kind of stuff.

In walked a very attractive young couple. It was space man Mark Hamill and his beautiful wife Marilou.

Mark Hamill's first Star Wars movie was Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977), where he portrayed Luke Skywalker.
Through the 1980s, Hamill pursued a theater career on Broadway, starring in several famous productions.

Mark and Marilou purchased some items (the bag he's holding), including the Beatles original 1974 10-Year Anniversary poster showing their evolving faces.
(We still have an original one of the posters listed in our shop...exactly like the one Mark is holding.)

Mark was kind enough to autograph the back of our SPEAKEASY ANTIQUES card which measures 6 by 3 1/2 inches.
He wrote..."Best Wishes to Bob & Rita - (from a galaxy far, far away!) Mark Hamill."

The couple posed for our Polaroid photo which we added to our customer guest book.
The Polaroid photo measures 3 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches.

Both items are ORIGINAL, card is hand signed by Hamill. Bob wrote their names and date on the back of the photo so we'd always remember them.
And who could forget Luke Skywalker of the Star Wars franchise.

The two items should probably be framed together but we leave it to the buyer to decide how they want to display these.

Excellent vintage condition. A rare galaxy treasure...not so far far away from you.
