These are from the 1960s series called 'Personality Buttons' made by Sandyval Graphics Ltd. New York. We think there were 84 pins to the series. Here are 12 of them, with some of the most collectible names.
The pins are black and white photos with celluloid tops, most from movie scenes. They measure 1 3/4 inches across. The backs are age-discolored, some of which will clean up but we leave things as found for you to decide.
From the front, these are all in excellent vintage condition.
Ready to give up? From top left to right in first photo...John Wayne, Theda Bara, Sophia Loren, Humphrey Bogart.
Below them are Laurel & Hardy, Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe and W.C. Fields.
Bottom row...Clark Gable, Peter Fonda, Shirley Temple and Judy Garland.
When you can find them, these go for as much as $20 each. Nice pin lot. Good deal for the movie buff.
