This vintage tobacco pipe is handcarved of fine sturdy-looking Briar wood. The bearded man is capped with a silvertone pipe lid which makes a perfect topper to his hat which has that European 'puff' decor on the side.
The pipe is signed at the bottom which looks like SCHOWA, a pipe maker of Germany.
The pipe measures 4 inches high as it sits flat. From the chin to the back of the lower pipe measures 2 inches across. From lid to chin it's 2 inches high.
The pipe has been smoked and shows some age-related tarnish around the metal rim (mostly under the lid). The mouth stem shows some wear/fade to the wood.
Overall, this pipe is still in excellent vintage condition. Ready to smoke or just sit there and smile back at you.
