This original 1950s celluloid / tin pin button features a photo of football player Buddy Young. The black and white pin measures 1 3/4 inches.
Some age tarnish on the back and some tiny spots under the celluloid surface.
Overall, the pin is in excellent vintage condition.
Young was a professional American football player and coach. He played college football at the University of Illinois and later played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for the Baltimore Colts, New York Yankees, and Dallas Texans. Young also served as an assistant coach for several NFL teams and was a scout for the Indianapolis Colts. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
