Not only does this vintage ring chain look like a useful gizmo, it's also made of solid sterling silver.

It looks like a key ring but may have also been made to attach to a watch or any pendant or lucky charm.

The ring opens and closes easily by pressing the ring inward.

The ring measures 1 inch across. The entire chain ring measures 5 1/2 inches long. It weighs 11.8 grams.

The two little bottom chains were probably attached to a longer silver chain that hung along the pocket where the item at the end was kept.

Added to a chain, this becomes a great pendant necklace to hold other pendants that you can change up whenever you like.
