After being an avid Bakelite maniac collector for decades, this one hurts.

This fantastic carved black Bakelite clamper bracelet has a boo-boo. You can see it in some of the photos. It's a small chip right at the corner of the top carved piece. This is how I found it and since it's a rare design, I HAD to get it. So it was years ago, when I collected ANYTHING Bakelite, I would buy even cracked non-working Bakelite radios and other damaged items if they were hard-to-find things. You had to buy it till a better one came along.

So this clamper bracelet has a chip at the corner. The carved piece of Bakelite on top is attached to a strip of copper on top of the Bakelite clamper. The copper was placed there to highlight the cut-outs.

Bracelet will fit a 6 to 7 inch wrist. It's 1 1/8 inches wide.

The hinge is strong. The bracelet itself still retains good gloss. In my humble, Bakelite-loving opinion, one little nick shouldn't keep a true Bakelite collector from wearing this great 1930s bracelet.
