No matter how you look at it, it's intriguing, sculptural and exotic. This vintage Mexican cuff arm bracelet is a work of art...handcrafted in Taxco Mexico circa 1960s.
It's Mayan or Aztec inspired in design but the effect is pure Art Deco Modernism to our eyes. The cuff is stylized with stark shapes that end in silver balls. The look is minimal and powerful.
The bracelet is marked TAXCO MEXICO .925 AVM. There's an Eagle 3 stamp.
The bracelet measures a whopping 3 1/2 inches wide. The inside measurement is about 8 3/4 inches around...8 inches of silver and 3/4 inches at the opening. There's slight flexibility here. This was probably intended to be worn higher up on the arm though it's perfect for someone with a larger wrist.
The bracelet weighs 100.3 grams. Minimal wear. Excellent condition. Major 'WOW' factor.
