This vintage DRT - Desert Rose Trading necklace is strikingly beautiful.

It's two strands of polished malachite stone beads with a two-sided pendant of malachite mosaic on one side and abalone shell on the other side. The two triangular pendant sides are bound with bands of solid sterling silver with a big sterling bail to hold the two bead strands together.

The color green is fresh as a just mowed field of green grass, as rich as a pile of green money, as delightful as St. Patrick's Day at the local bar. In spiritual / symbolic terms, the color green implies new beginnings, growth, good health, optimism and other positive things. Green is a very down–to–earth, earthy color. This genuine malachite came right from the source...the earth, and DRT made it perfectly, gorgeously, wearable.

Necklace measures 18 to 20 inches around, depending on where you clasp it. The pendant measures 1 3/4 inches across by 2 1/2 inches long with bail. The sterling silver clasp is marked DRT 925. Necklace weighs 134 grams.

Necklace is in excellent vintage condition. And we're feeling optimistic and enthusiastic to list this.
