To create great artwork, maybe you need a great brush.

This vintage oversized Chinese calligraphy / paint / ink brush is a piece of art in itself.

The long handle is a stack of 30 hand carved genuine jade ring disks. They vary in natural jade colors and nuances.

The bristles are natural horse hair and the bristle 'cup' and base knob are made of carved bone. There's a string at the bottom so this can be hung up.

Brush measures 14 inches long. It's 1 1/2 inches at the widest.

The brush appears to be unused and is still a very functional art piece...as a paint brush or as a unique gemstone wall hanging.
