We tried but our pictures just don't capture the beauty of this Art Deco pin.

It's impressive in both size and weight...3 1/4 inches across by 1 inch high. Weighs 26.3 grams.

The setting is a solid-cut, geometric-shaped silvertone metal. It's not magnetic...not silver. Maybe pewter.

The crystal stones are mostly clear with some contrasting black rhinestones. They're well placed, most likely hand set and best of all, the stones are all there.

The back has a secure rollover clasp. No markings. There's something about this pin that makes us think it was a prototype, not meant to be sold. This came in a small collection of some odd jewelry from the Deco era so it might have been a jewelry maker's potential design. It's not the normal pin...it's definitely, mysteriously unique.

A bit of age tarnish to the design cuts in the metal but the stones still have excellent sparkle.
