The artisan who made this set sold her jewelry for years down in the Florida Keys. She was very into using 'bits of nature' with 'good energy' and most all of her work came from the earth's natural wares. We were fortunate to buy some of her jewels from her estate.

This necklace and earrings set is the striking combination of genuine turquoise stones and real black branch coral. In between are sterling silver beaded spacers. The hook clasp is also decorated solid sterling silver. (Some of the turquoise beads may have been enhanced for stability, something often done to strengthen genuine turquoise.)

Necklace measures 17 inches around by 3/4 inch wide. The earrings for pierced ears are 2 inches long. The set weighs 88.8 grams. (Earrings are 4.6 grams together.)

The set is in excellent vintage condition.
