This clip is a fine one. It was made in Taxco Mexico and it features an Aztec sun calendar design in the shape of a small coin. This design is taken from the Aztec Sun Stone excavated in 1790 in Mexico City. The design is also found on the Mexican Peso coins. This money clip is more interested in bills than coins so hopefully, you'll keep it well filled.

It measures a slim 3/4 inch across by 2 inches long. It weighs 18 grams.

The back is hallmarked MEXICO - 925 - TR-134 (the silversmith's registration).

Minimal signs of use but overall in excellent vintage condition.
