This vintage genuine Bakelite bangle bracelet is a rare one. It's one of the best-dressed Bakelite bracelets you'll ever find.

The dark green creamed spinach Bakelite has four domed gilded brass overlays and each one has a blue Czech glass stone in the center.

This type of metal clad Bakelite is rarely found. Pieces can be partially clad with metal or completely encased. Many of the pieces that are partially clad have metal over green marbled Bakelite. And this is a very dark green and marbled Bakelite.

Bracelet measure 2 1/2 inches across the opening (standard size). It's 1 1/2 inches wide.

The goldtone metal is done in an ornate Maltese cross design. The blue stone has flickers of gold inside, mimicking blue lapis.

The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition. NO chips, cracks, dings.

The bracelet has been tested for genuine Bakelite. We've been collecting and dealing in Bakelite for over 50 years (it was my first collection when we got into this business).

Metal clad Bakelite jewelry was apparently made in Canada. And it took a gutsy innovative maker to attach metal to a form of plastic.
