This vintage handcrafted necklace is one of a kind. It comes with some good provenance.

This was made by our friend who was a jewelry designer for many decades. She made jewelry for the 1990s film The Lion King and for many magazine features and fashion shows.

She called this her 'Around the World' necklace because she traveled the world to find unique and natural stones and materials for her designs.

This necklace has a center hand-carved exotic nut pendant of two panthers wrestling. There are antique carved Chinese turquoise beads, carved carnelian beads, genuine lapis beads, and more. There are strands of small genuine stone beads that wrap around and envelope the larger beads. There's a hand-carved bead made of horn that's a horse...very detailed.

The necklace measures 18 inches around by 1 1/2 inches long at center. It weighs 89.4 grams.
