This vintage Peruvian cuff bracelet is made of sterling silver. The hand-etched Llama (Peru's long-time favorite animal) and Inca symbols are made of 18K yellow gold.

The bracelet is a large size...measures 8 inches around (7 inches end-to-end silver with a 1 inch gap). It's 1 3/8 inches wide.
It weighs 23 grams...light weight for its size.

The inside is marked PERU - 18K - 925. The opening has a chain that hooks onto the other side for added security.

In Peru, many llamas have their ears pierced and wear decorative tassels that increase the swatting range to include the eyes, which are prone to fly irritation. The tassels also help to prevent insects from entering the ear.
Llamas are cooperative about having their pictures taken with tourists.
Llamas are better dressed than some people we know.
