1940s WWII Leather Canvas Money Belt w/ Secret Stash - Unused Military - image 1 of 5

As the saying goes...'Don't leave home without it'. This original WWII era money belt is a sure way to secure your money and small valuables when you travel.

These belts were made for military use by the soldiers who traveled to Europe (and elsewhere). This is made of genuine tan leather and o.d. (olive drab) green military canvas. It was never used and still has the original maker's tag...FROEHLICH CO. INC. 1943.

The belt measures 47 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide. Adjustable strap so one size fits most. There's a cover flap. Under that, are three compartments for various size bills and cards, diamonds, etc. The center compartment has a secret fold-out flap that has another pouch for more money.

The leather shows some minor storage-related scuffs. Belt is in excellent unused condition. Not just a piece of history but a very sturdy, practical way to travel.
