What a handsome soldier he was, wearing wings on his jacket, a star wings patch on his sleeve and a large eagle wings pin on his hat. He was obviously an Army Air Force pilot serving his country, knowing his sweetheart was somewhere, wearing his pin.

This pin is different than most. It's made out of gilded metal with an eagle on top and laurel wreaths on the sides. Two little doors open up to show the soldier's photo which is still very clear.

Pin measures 1 1/2 by 1 3/8 inches. The silvertone back has a secure rollover clasp.

We've left the original patina as found since most collectors prefer that.

Pin is unmarked. Excellent vintage condition.
