If you find a piece of jewelry signed S.A.L. on the back, no...it's not by the pizza maker down the street, although his pizza is divine.

S.A.L. is short for Swarovski America, Ltd.
S.A.L. was the first name under which the famed Austrian crystal company began manufacturing their own jewelry back in the 1970s.

This S.A.L. pin is as divine as Sal's pizza (we really had an amazing Sal's Pizza here years ago but then he and his wife split up and there went our dinner).

The goldplated curved pin has four open 'petals' so this is shaped like a lucky shamrock. A big faux emerald crystal rhinestone sparkles in the center with four little faux pearls around it.

Pin measures 1 5/8 inches each way. Back has a secure rollover clasp.

Pin is in excellent vintage condition. Swarovski's S.A.L. is a fantastic jewelry treat. Just like another Sal treat we used to love.

(Since people didn't know that S.A.L. was Swarovski, they eventually changed the S.A.L. logo to the Swan logo.)
