1950s Sterling Silver HADASSAH Wine Cup Glass Engraved - image 1 of 8

The Jewish organization HADASSAH is dedicated to preserving and promoting Jewish social and religious values in the United States and to strengthening ties between U.S. and Israeli Jewish communities. They also help a lot of people of all kinds and they're very appreciative of their volunteers. Here's an example...

This sterling silver kiddush cup (wine glass) was presented to a Hadassah volunteer for..."Devoted Service" to the Naomi Segal Group of Hadassh for 1957 - 1958. This group was involved in the Hadassah Medical Organization and the volunteer recipient's name is engraved at center.

Cup measures 5 3/8 inches high by 2 3/4 inches across the top. It weighs 69.5 grams.

Marked STERLING along the edge. This has not been polished. We see NO dings, dents or scratches. Just lots of fancy engraving that includes the Star of David and zig-zag designs.

You can polish this, pour in the wine, raise the glass to volunteers of all kinds and say 'L'Chaim' (to Life).

Excellent vintage condition.
