So we love Japanese sushi, their adorable boy bands, their Kanso concept of simplicity, and their lacquered art work.

This necklace is a beautiful mid-century example of a Japanese floral lacquered plaque pendant with two smaller ones among the black, goldtone, and coral colored beads. And that's it. It's just so lovely and peaceful to look at that we don't have to say anything else.

Oh...measurements. It's 24 inches around. The lacquered pendant center is 2 inches across by 2 3/4 inches high. The back is matte black. The two small ovals are 5/8 inch wide and they're lacquered with floral graphics on both sides.

The secure lobster style clasp says JAPAN.
