After umpteen attempts at trying to figure out the visual difference between sodalite and lapis lazuli, our heads have exploded with an obvious conclusion. Unless the characteristics of the stones are so obvious to differentiate them, forget it. It's not important because they both look alike and they both have some similar components.

We're calling these cufflinks made of sterling silver...lapilite and sodazuli. That's what the stones look like...and are.

Not only are the fronts set with those dark blue stones with little flecks that look like a million stars...so are the backs of the links. The swivels are also stone set like the fronts.

Tops measure 5/8 by 3/4 inch. The swivels are 3/8 by 5/8 inch.

Cufflinks are marked 925 for sterling. Excellent vintage condition with no notable issues other than a minor identity crisis.
