Now we know how to make jewelry. You take a piece of smooth genuine sterling silver. You hammer it and wrinkle it and crinkle it and crumple it and smash it again and voila!...you have a ring. If only it were that easy. But it ain't.

This ring took the artisan silversmith who made it a good amount of time to get this design looking like a Brutalist, modernist crumpled, wrinkled gem. It's smooth all around but on the top, it's folded like an accordian.

Ring is size 7. It measures 1 inch wide on the top. It weighs 10.5 grams.

The inside is hand-etched and signed by the artist. Says STERLING on one side and the name on the other. It's in the photo...we can't make it out.
