The Hobbit was a series consisting of three high fantasy adventure films directed by Peter Jackson. The three films were The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012), The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013), and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014). The films were based on the 1937 novel The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien, with large portions of the trilogy inspired by the appendices to The Return of the King, which expand on the story told in The Hobbit, as well as new material and characters written especially for the films. Together they acted as a prequel to Jackson's The Lord of the Rings film trilogy.

The first film in the trilogy premiered at the Embassy Theatre in Wellington, New Zealand on November 28 2012. One hundred thousand people lined the red carpet on Courtenay Place, and the entire event was broadcast live on television in New Zealand and streamed over the Internet.

It was a group in Wellington New Zealand called WETA who made this HOBBIT black leather wraparound bracelet. It was made from supple vegetable tanned cowhide. This is a natural product with unique color and texture variations.

The cuff features one snap lock cap and two sockets. This will fit approximately a 7 to 8 inch wrist. These are sturdy bronze-tone fasteners.

The jet black leather is embossed with Dwarven Decorations such as one might find on pillars and in halls of Erebor or Moria or other Dwarven strongholds.

The cuff is very tactile, beautiful to look at and has that natural smell of real fine leather.
