It's not just the round sterling silver beads that make this necklace so good-looking. It's what the designer put BETWEEN the beads that gives it the extra 'pop'.
The spacers are sterling beaded rondelle style beads that add some attractive texture to the necklace.
It measures 17 1/2 inches long by about 3/8 inch wide. Necklace weighs 39.8 grams.
Necklace has a toggle style clasp with a sterling heart charm at the end. It's hallmarked SJC in a sunburst logo with 925.
This is known to be the mark of Sundancer Jewelry who made fine silver pieces in Albuquerque New Mexico starting in 1973. They specialized in a large Southwestern-style line. Sundancer is the originator of “liquid silver,” tiny tubes of sterling silver that create a fluid look when strung together and which are now a characteristic feature of Southwestern and Native American Jewelry. They no longer seem to sell to the public but only to limited resellers.
Necklace is in excellent vintage condition...one of the SJC early pieces.
