These vintage genuine Bakelite dangle earrings are screw-back style so you can adjust them to fit.

The beads are facet cut. The color is...uh...decide for yourself because this can be a bit subjective. Years ago, Rita Reif, the antiques / collectibles column writer for the New York Times called my olive drab green Bakelite bracelet 'sour green'. After that, every time I saw that color I thought of sour pickles. Call the color what you will...it's a great mix of yellow and green Bakelite.

The earrings measure 5/8 inch across the dangling balls by 1 3/4 inches long from top to bottom. The silvertone screwbacks work smoothly.

Earrings are in excellent vintage condition. Circa 1940s. Now I wish someone had made pickle earrings out of this color Bakelite.
