This 'Sweetheart' jewelry locket pin was a sweet reminder of the people we missed who were either away fighting a war, or holding down the homefront during WWII.

There's a grand American eagle with an Armed Forces military shield at the center. It's made of gilded brass. It holds a pretty goldtone locket with a mother-of-pearl inlaid front, topped with another eagle and patriotic red, white and blue shield.

The locket measures 1 3/4 inches across the wings by 2 1/4 inches long.

Open it and there are two photos...looks like a mom and daughter in 1940s clothing and hairstyles. The photos can be removed and replaced with your own 'sweethearts'. The photo windows are just over 5/8 inch across.
