This old and original 1940s Sterling Silver pin is a WW II era souvenir, sold to soldiers passing through Times Square (where we bought this from the retiring store owner circa 1970). Soldiers would send these to wives, moms, sweethearts to make sure they weren't forgotten.

In the center of the wheel is an enamel eagle and shield insignia with anchors....representing Navy or Coast Guard.

Pin measures 1 5/8 inches long , hanging with bow pin bar. Back is marked STERLING.

Still in the original box, never worn.
