We have no idea. All we know is that the sum total of the parts is something very beautiful and probably one-of-a-kind.

The overall look has a unique ethnic exotic style. It's so nice as it is, we didn't want to attempt to clean/polish up the silver beads. Just leaving them with their look of 'an interesting past'.

The necklace measures 18 inches around with a secure sterling silver (tested) toggle clasp. The silver beads (also tested for sterling) are 5/8 inch wide. Necklace weighs 50.9 grams.

Some people like to wear jewelry that everyone else is wearing to 'fit in'. This is NOT one of those pieces.

Necklace is in excellent vintage condition.
