This vintage pin goes all out to make this Roman couple (man and woman?) look well framed.

There's lots of heavy gold plating, maroon and green enamel work, and genuine orangy amber colored stones at each end of the columns that surround the cameo profiles. The backdrop for the white profiles seems to be stone in black and yellow.

Pin measures 2 inches across by 1 3/4 inches high. The back has a secure rollover clasp.

The pin is signed by its designer / maker but we just can make out the last few letters. The first letters look like LES but the rest does NOT look like Bernard. It seems to be one word.

Pin is uncommon, bright and colorful, mysteriously signed and in excellent vintage condition.
