We asked the Internet...What does 'dressed up' mean?
"Transitive verb. 1 : to make more attractive, glamorous, or fancy dress up a plain dessert with a rich chocolate sauce. 2a : to attire in best or formal clothes. b : to attire in clothes suited to a particular role. 3 : to present in the most attractive or impressive light a fiasco dressed up as a triumph."

Another definition was..."If someone is dressed up, they are wearing special clothes, in order to look more formal than usual or in order to disguise themselves."

Okay...well we're pretty sure that you're NOT a fiasco or trying to disguise yourself. But some of the rest of those definitions would apply to the result of this gorgeous DRESS UP Swarovski necklace and earrings set. Words like attractive, glamorous, impressive, fancy are the reality of wearing this set.

The necklace is heavily gold-plated with genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones set in each link and even in the spacer links. The necklace measures 17 inches around by 5/8 inch wide. The necklace is marked with the SWAN logo hallmark.

The matching earrings for pierced ears are 1 by 1 inch. They feature a large marquise shaped crystal with a 'collar' of smaller stones around it. Backs are marked S.A.L., one of the vintage Swarovski hallmarks.

Set is in excellent vintage condition. Perfect for the 'dress up' triumphant disguise. (Still chuckling at some of these definitions.)
