This vintage museum replica pin was made by Multilana for the Art Institute of Chicago.

The pin is high quality, made of heavy goldplate over pewter. It measures 1 3/4 by 1 1/4 inches.

This pin was apparently inspired by a detail from Hector Giacomelli’s (French, 1822-1904) artwork 'The Bird Perch' which shows over 20 finches lined up in a long row. These 5 finches are looking detailed and beautiful.

Back has a secure rollover clasp. Marked MULTILANA and AIC.
