1960s Pink Glass Bead Cluster Clip Earrings w/ Designer Connection - image 1 of 4

These vintage clip back earrings are from the 1960s and have an Italian designer's connection. The designer is Raoul Calabro who was famous for his chain link handbags.

These earrings (along with several other earrings we bought from an estate) had a hand-written hangtag attached that says..."RAOUL CALABRO - MILANO - NEW YORK".

These earrings are NOT marked but we're guessing that these were accessories sold by Calabro at his boutique.

Regardless of this Italian designer pedigree, these are fantastic earrings. Each earring is a big puff of pink glass beads hanging from a gilt clip post. The earrings measure 1 inch across by 1 1/2 inches long. Together, they weigh 26.3 grams.

Earrings are in excellent vintage condition with secure comfortable clips. We can understand why any one, designer or not, would take a liking to these earrings.
