This vintage Navajo necklace was made by H. SPENCER, a Native American silversmith who is listed in the book...HALLMARKS OF THE SOUTHWEST by Barton Wright (page 160).
The necklace is made of solid sterling silver with hand-tooled feather or leaf forms on each side and a center pendant inlaid with genuine mother-of-pearl shell with three dangles of silver and MOP.
Necklace measures 18 inches around by 2 1/2 inches long at center. Weighs 22.2 grams.
Back of the pendant is stamped with the SPENCER arrow hallmark as shown in the book.
Excellent vintage condition. Circa 1970s.
