Old and original...these are from the early 1960s (pre-zip code). They're lenticular 'flicker' disks made by VARI-VUE and they're all Walt Disney characters showing off their talents. These disks were souvenir items for Disneyland and also used as premiums for products like Cheerios Cereal.

Donald Duck is lifting a barbell. Mickey Mouse is performing a magic trick, Dumbo the Elephant is flapping his ears and flying, Pluto is rolling along on a ball, Bongo is rolling along on a wheel and Hyacinth Hippo is doing a ballet dance. (Bongo has a twin.)

The disks measure 1 1/4 inches each way.

These were made by Vari-Vue, a company that specialized in flicker novelties...they went out of business around 1980.

The motion on these is great... something we can't capture in our photos. Slight age yellowing/foxing to backs but overall, these are in very good condition. These Disney flickers can be made into pins...or enjoy their moves as they are.
