The folks at Florenza of New York (late 1940s to 1981) must have pined for the good old days when jewelry was ornate and romantic. They made wonderful pieces in the Renaissance and Victorian styles, incorporating antiqued gold-tone metal and fanciful etching and scrollwork.
This pin has totally captured another era with its beautiful openwork design. And making it even better is the etched locket that hangs from it. It holds two photos that would measure 5/8 by 7/8 inch. The locket itself is 7/8 by 1 1/8 inches. The pin measures 1 1/2 inches across by 3 inches high with locket.
Back has a rollover clasp and is marked FLORENZA. The locket snaps securely. Pin/locket is in excellent condition. The good ol' days are STILL good.
