These should shake you out of your earring doldrums. They're very unique clip-back copper earrings made with brass bullet shells.
Known as 'Trench Art', these bullet items were often made by soldiers with time and ammo on their hands. They'd send these handcrafted gifts to moms, wives and sweethearts who were always happy to get them, in spite of the sometimes primitive look of the item.
These actually look great on the ears. They're bold (that's an understatement) and look like sculpture. They measure 1 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches.
The metals have an aged patina that includes various shadings that (we think) enhances them. These vintage earrings are not for everyone...that's why we like them.
