These vintage mid-century cufflinks are sterling silver, heavily etched on the fronts with the Star of David. There's Hebrew lettering in the center...it says 'Zion'.
The cufflinks were made in Taxco Mexico and are hallmarked with the Eagle 26 which was designated to silver maestro Gerardo Lopez. Also marked STERLING 925 HECHO EN MEXICO. A small support bar in the swivel is marked Alpaca which is not sterling but is sometimes added for its strength.
Cufllinks measure 1 1/4 inches each way. They weigh 14.3 grams.
The patina has not been fully polished...we leave it to the preference of the buyer.
One cufflink has a tiny gap at the edge. Overall in excellent vintage condition. Circa 1950s.
