We all know about those coveted Judith Leiber handbags but take a gander at this awesome Leiber pin. Yes, she made jewelry too but there's not much of it to be found. This vintage pin turned up NOWHERE!
Yet here it is in all its big Leiber Lucite glory.
This pin is a thick laminated slice of black Lucite with a 'window' framed in pearly black and white. Inside, there's a double row of clear rhinestones. The backplate is a silvertone metallic flower that has both a secure rollover clasp and two loops so you can attach a chain and wear this as a necklace too.
Measures 2 3/4 inches each way. It's 3/8 inch thick. It weighs 56.2 grams.
Back has the JUDITH LEIBER hallmark cartouche.
Through a magnifier, we can see light minor scuffs to the Lucite surface...age appropriate.
Overall, in excellent vintage condition, circa 1980s. Best part...you don't have to carry it like her bags. Just pin it on.
