This vintage faux Native American squash blossom necklace certainly goes all out to look like the real thing. This large impressive necklace was made by GOLDETTE as an homage to the Native American squash blossom necklace. Those authentic tribal silver and turquoise necklaces command big prices these days but for those who like the big look without the big price tag, this faux squash necklace may be just the thing.
The silvertone metal beads have a bright gleam as they hold the center naja and the smaller squash blossoms along the way.
The faux turquoise (Lucite?) cabochons are a vivid blue color that mimics the fine turquoise of the Southwest.
The necklace measures 25 inches around ending in a secure foldover clasp. The naja crescent measures 2 7/8 by 2 3/4 inches.
The clasp is signed GOLDETTE. Necklace is in excellent vintage condition. Circa 1970.
