Champleve Enameling is a complex art form that David Kuo learned from his father, renowned artist, Ming Chiao Kuo. The father was referred to as Taiwan's cloisonné master and was best known for his award winning cloisonné objects. His works have been shown and put on permanent display worldwide, including the Vatican.
Father Ming passed in 2014 but fortunately, the father's skills had already been passed on to some of his children, including David Kuo whose own enamel work jewelry was sold in the 1980s at many high end boutiques and galleries. It's now coveted and collected by admirers of his beautiful work.
