This handwrought belt buckle is made of copper on brass. It shows the WWII symbol of a bombardier or aerial gunner, both of which feature a bomb with wings.
The buckle measures 2 7/8 inches across by 2 3/4 inches high.
The back has a bar for the belt. It's 1 5/8 inches wide. The rod on the other side goes into the belt hole.
Buckle has a great patina and a smooth perfectly hammered surface.
Excellent vintage condition. Beautiful, wearable, functional Trench Art. Circa 1940s.
