This bracelet has us captivated for a couple of reasons. One...it has the look of jewelry made by a well-known designer who didn't sign all her work, whose name we won't mention because she probably didn't make this but it sure has her sensibility of style and finesse.
And secondly, this is not one of those blazing, wildly jeweled bracelets intended to make your wrist look like a neon sign. Nope, this one is all around subtle and fine and if there's such a thing as a 'thoughtful bracelet', this one is it.
The antiqued goldtone metal is subdued. It has the patina of an old heirloom. The faux pearls are tucked into pretty cone pockets. Little white glass stones dot each link here and there. And a little blue rhinestone twinkles at each corner. It's just beautiful.
Bracelet measures 7 1/4 inches long by 1 inch wide. The secure slide-in box clasp works well...goes in with a snap. There's also a safety chain.
Stones are intact and all is well with this bracelet. Circa 1940s.
